After raising over £4000 for the Beatson Institute over the past few months, Clyde Travel’s Beatson fundraising team went along on Tuesday 17 July to present the final cheque for £4090. They presented the cheque to Billy Clark who is the Molecular Technology Services Manager. He covers the DNA sequencing service and the DNA Maxipreparations, minipreps and Buffer Production Service. The total has allowed the Beatson to purchase an important piece of machinery called a compact centrifuge. Clyde Travel Management are delighted to have given the Beatson the chance to purchase this machinery and look forward to continuing to raise funds for them in the future.
